Jepara

Jepara is a city in Central Java province and is a regency seat of Jepara Regency. As of 2008 estimate, the population was 104,500. The city has a port connecting Karimun Jawa islands, and also birthplace of R.A. Kartini (1879-1904), an Indonesian national heroine for pioneering women rights in the area.
